Background:
His dedication and passion to the business is evident. How many wrestlers would walk away following a less than stellar stint in World Championship Wrestling? How many would leaves the business after making some progress in the World Wrestling Federation, only to be held back by backstage politics? Teiple H's setbacks built character and gave him a wealth of experience that he can impart upon the up-and-comers in the form of advice.
What he offers:
Hunter Hearst Helmsley entered the WWF in 1995 during a down time. He was one of the last wrestlers who came in with the cartoonish persona that made the federation an also-ran to WCW. He also was a major part of the company's resurgence. Seeing the good times, the bad times and the mistakes gives Triple H a unique perspective and a certain level of respect in the locker room. Helmsley provides input to storylines, developing his creative side, along with his athletic skills. According to WWF developmental star Pete Gas, "He's a mega star and for him to actually come help me by telling me when to do stuff, how to get reactions out of the crowd is just invaluable."
