Paul's Women
While I'm sure Paul has dated many women since he's been involved in the wrestling business, he's had two high-profile relationships. Both involve women who are also involved in the wrestling business.
Paul and Joanie Laurer (formerly Chyna), were together for around 4 years. They met one night when she was supposed to meet a WWF road agent who blew her off and she ended up meeting HHH and HBK. While it's uncertain as to exactly when the relationship ended for good, it's assumed that it was sometime in late 2000. Joanie left the WWE soon after (her last appearance on WWE tv was May 2001), and has since pursued other interests such as acting and making special appearances. Most recently, she wrestled in Japan. Paul and Stephanie McMahon (daughter of WWE owner Vince McMahon) began dating sometime in 2000. An exact date isn't known. The relationship was very controversial in the early stages, due to the confusion over whether Paul and Joanie were actually still an item or not. Steph recently stated on Stern that they dated for a while, broke up, then began dating again. Paul has been a big target among the dirt sheet writers since beginning the relationship with Steph. They insist he's using the relationship to his advantage to keep his top spot. It should be noted, however, that Paul was well on his way to the top before this relationship ever began.
