First Fall-Regular match:There is good brawling to begin with and Austin counters a Pedigree with a single arm DDT.Austin works on HHH's arm while HHH works Austins neck.Then HHH switches his offense to Austins knee.HHH drives his knee in Austin's knee and uses a figure four leglock.He plays evil by using the ropes for leverage.Stone Cold turns it around but HHH reaches the ropes.Austin hit a Lou Thesz Press and a forearm smash for a near fall.HHH counters Austins Stunner into a hangman's neckbreaker and another into a rollup only for Stone Cold to come back with his own rollup.HHH goes to the top but when he comes back down he gets hit with a Stunner.Austin gets a 3 count.
Second Fall-street fight:Austin starts pounding the daylights out of HHH all over the arena before smashing HHH with a TV monitor.Stone Cold throws many chairs into the irng.HHH tries to get away but gets caught and is beaten up on.Austin hits over 10 chair shots all over the Games body before getting a 2 count.HHH starts running but Stone Cold catches him.Stone Cold finds his barbed wire on a 2 by 4.HHH takes it from Austin and smacking it into Austins head.HHH then sets up a Pedigree but Austin backbodydrops him from he USA table to the Spanish one.Austin smacks a beer can into HHH's face and yells to Earl Hebner"Get the f*ck outta here!"The Game surprises Austin with a shot to the head with a ring bell,getting a 2.HHH then neckbreakers Stone Cold onto a chair.He gets a 2 and does it again and again gets a 2.HHH hits a belly to belly suplex for a 2.He sets up a Pedigree only to get back body dropped over the top rope.Austin hits HHH with some chairs and cuts him wide open ! with the ring stairs.HHH and the Rattlesnake brawl before HHH gets his sledgehammer under the table and brings it into the fray.HHH Throws Austin away from the Stunner and slams the sledgehammer into Stone Colds face.He hits a Pedigree and gets a point,tying it up.
Third fall-cage match:HHH gets up first and starts Austin head-first into the steel cage and grinds the babed wire into his head.Austin then returns the favor.HHH DDT's Austin into a chair for 2.Stone Cold starts the strikes and HHH tries to flee from the cage.When he pursues HHH,Austin lands open legged on the ropes but comes back with a Spinebuster.HHH counters a Stunner into a Pedigree but gets a 2!HHH hits Austin in the head with a chair and sets up a Pedigree on a chair but is Slingshotted into the cage followed by a Stunner.Austin has won but DAMN!HHH kicked out at 2.The Game is only the second person to kick out of a Stunner(Rock was first at WrestleMania XV.)They both grab their weapon and slam it into each others face!The Game bumps Into the Texas Rattlesnake and falls on top of him for a 3 count!HHH is the winner of an incredible 2/3 falls!
This match went on to be WWE Match of the Year 2001 and one of my all time favorites!
