Originally, this was gonna be Austin Rock and HHH 'cause at No Mercy, Rock accidentally slammed Austins ribs with a sledgehammer, allowing HHH to retain the title. Then Austin wanted The Rock too so the match was made a Triple Threat match. Halfway through the show,HHH lured Austin into the parking lot where he was hit with a car (later revealed to be Rikishi who was paid by HHH).When the match came,Vince McMahon said that Austin's replacement would be Big Show.
The match starts and Big Show cleans house early of both opponents,throwing them around the ring.Both men tried to take out Show by themselves but was tossed around.They finally teamed up and leveled Show continuously 'til he fell.They took turns giving him right hands.Big Show was taken down early and they both tried to pin him.Both men interfered in theo thers pin attempts and they traded moves.Rock gave Hunter a DDT but the Champ responded with a neckbreaker and a jumping high knee to the face of the Rock which sent him out of the ring.They brawled out of the ring and Show came out for them both again.He ripped through them both until Rock clobbered Big Show in the head with a fire extinguisher,knocking out the big man.HHH and Rock then hit a double Vertical Suplex on Show,putting him through the Spanish announce table.They went back to work on each other all over the crowd.They fought up the stairs with each of them knocking the other one down a few times.They slammed each other all through a set of chairs.They got back to the ring.Rock went for a clothesline on his opponents but accidently took out the ref.Rock was able to counter the Pedigree with a Rock Bottom.Shane ran out to make the count but HHH kicked out.The Rock was able to land a second Rock Bottom but Show rushed back in and elbow dropped Rock to preserve the match.Big Show destroyed Rock outside the ring.HHH gave Shane a Pedigree 'cause Shane almost counted 3.Big Show Show stoppered both of his opponents but DX came in.Big Show cleaned house of them as Vince stormed to the ring.He hit HHH big time with the WWF Title before Big Show hit another Showstopper for the three count to become WWF Champion.
