This match has no DQ and no count out. Angle entered the ring first and apologizing for not kissing Steph earlier. HHH told Steph to stay backstage and he came out to the ring a pissed off man. He jumped Angle and pounded at him with no mercy and threw him outside the ring. He tossed Angle into the stairs but Anlge did the smae thing.HHH got up and slammed Angles head repeatedly into the Spanish announce table. He set up a Pedigree but when he jumped the table collasped under the weight and HHH's knees fell on top of Angles head. Angle had a concussion there. As both men were recovering, EMT's came from the back to help Angle. Rock came out at this time and HHH got in the ring with a sledgehammer. Angle was about to be wheeled out of the arena when HHH came back up the ramp and attacked Angle. The two got back in the ring. Rock attacked Hunter from behind,as EMT's finally got Kurt out of the ring. While the ref's attention was elsewhere, HHH nailed Rock with a brutal shot to the midsection with his sledgehammer. He took control here. He backed Rock into the corner and punched, kicked, stomped and kneed the ribs all trying to weaken Rock. He irish whipped Rock into the ropes and droves his knee into the ribs every time Rock came off the ropes. He locked in an abdominal stretch which kept Rock down for a while but he came back finally. The two exchanged blows. Stephanie dragged Angle back into the ring where he continued to fight. Angle hit a belly to belly and german suplex on HHH for a close fall. He drop toe holded Rock into HHH who hit a Pedigree. Kurt interrupted the pin and tossed HHH onto the steel stairs.Kurt walked right into a Rock Bottom for 2. Stephanie tried to give HHH the sledgehammer but angle got a hold of it. Steph tried to intervene but got clotheslined by HHH. Kurt then slammed the weapon into HHH's face, cutting him open. Rock tossed Kurt over the top rope and landed a People's Elbow into HHH's bloody face to retain his WWF Championship. Rock celebrated, climbing the pieces of the stage and holding the title. Angle took an unconscious Steph backstage as Summerslam went off the air.
